April 12-14 at the Garrison Squash Club in Kingston Ontario (Kingston Military Sport Center).

Revisions: (Entry form link at bottom of page)

March 29

There is a labour dispute at the facility. The hours are adjusted in that Saturday and Sunday the facility is only open 10am to 4pm.

Soooo, no early matches. But also means we need to run on time and some Saturday matches might be closer together than normal.

I will not charge the extra $15 past April 1. Entry fee will remain $150.

If the Mens or Womens Open/A draw have less than 8 players, I will adjust prize money slightly, dropping first to 1000/500/200.

If you are unsure of what division to enter, let me know. We will find you a place.

  • With mens 50+ age is a bit fluid…
  • Women’s 50+ has been changed to Women’s 40+
  • Withdrawal before April 1 incurs a $15 charge. No refunds after April 1.

Facility notes:

  • Draws will be limited to 16 people per draw. We will have minimal flexibility for special requests. As we are playing at a Government facility, they close when they close; no wiggle room!
  • There are showers and a sauna; no towel service.
  • Eye protection is mandatory. This is a Government of Canada rule, not my rule.
  • Link to location: Kingston Military Sport Center (google maps)

Other

  • We will provide everyone with three “Tournament drink” tickets; we will have an assortment of Coca Cola, Coke Zero, Gatorade and such.
  • We will award prize money as per below. In addition, division winners will receive a Limestone trophy!
  • Yes, Champion of the Party is a thing. We award a trophy for the person that over the weekend, best personifies having a good time off court.
  • The prize money is the minimum. Add more sponsors, add more money. This event is a break even event.
  • We plan on everyone having three matches.
  • For those in the money divisions, matches have to be played to collect!
  • The Womens Intro will be a round robin. Match details will depend on how many entries. We want you to have lots of squash, not kill you.
