After a couple days in Tofino, we returned to another favourite spot. The Kingfisher Resort in Courtenay BC. This resort is on the water facing the mainland, just south of Comox.
We visited here previously, two days before they turned on their Christmas lights. We returned in order to see the lights.
The Kingfisher has a spa; a nice heated outdoor pool area, with an adjoining steam room and sauna. In addition, they have a great restaurant and the rooms are well equipped with kitchen and gas fireplaces.
It is a very nice place to relax for a couple of days.
Both trips we have flown into Victoria, next time we will fly into Nanaimo or Comox – save some driving, especially when we will probably combine a trip here with a trip to Tofino.
